Don’t you love Grammar Girl? I do. Mignon Fogerty does an amazing job deciphering the intricacies of English grammar for all of us grown ups. In my inbox today was an email from her about National Grammar Day.
National Grammar Day? Wow! Who knew. They even have their own website. I swear I am not making this up. Here is theie description of National Grammar Day:
“Language is something to celebrate, and March 4 is the perfect day to do it. It’s not only a date, it’s an imperative: March forth on March 4 to speak well, write well, and help others do the same!”
By the way, if you don’t currently receive Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips email, you should. Click here to subscribe.
So let us march forth on March fourth with impeccable grammar. You first.
