Intelligent content is the latest buzz in content marketing. I know, many of us who grew up in techcomm have been working with intelligent content for a number of years. But in the content marketing arena, intelligent content is something new, confusing and a little bit scary.

You can just imagine how excited I was this morning to read a new post on the Content Marketing Institute blog by Rob Rose. The title is Intelligent Content Demystified: A Practical, Easy-to-Understand Explanation. And it is!

Rob does a fabulous job of explaining intelligent content and providing real-life examples of why intelligent content is important and how it is used in content marketing. He uses the Intelligent Content Conference website to illustrate these principles:

  • StructureCMI_Final_20131
  • Semantic categorization
  • Automatic discovery
  • Content Reuse

all from the standpoint of content marketing.

But don’t take my word for it. Click here to read Rob’s terrific article. And I’ll see you at the Intelligent Content Conference on March 24th and 25th. Look for me to say hello!
